About us

Welcome

Bird Nerds began with two creatives wanting to share their passion, knowledge and enthusiastic excitement for conservation and the creative expression that celebrates our feathered friends. Bird Nerds is a platform for others with similar interests to show and discuss everything 'BIRD'.

GEOFF WHITE
Geoff has been shooting for over 40 years and his photography has taken him to places like remote Nepal, to New Zealand, Kyrgyzstan, Philippines, Thailand and Bangladesh to name a few. He is a passionate landscape photographer, photojournalist and has run international and local photographic workshops. 

AMELIA BATCHELOR
Amelia is a multidisciplinary artist, working with a host of contrasting mediums within her sculptures and paintings. Her artworks are nature based with an emphasis on conservation and a significance on all things connecting.  Her skills are underpinned by 30 years experience as a professional designer.
